A weighted vest can help develop strength, endurance and cardio. Adding extra mass can help influence the way your muscles stress and strain during fitness. The added weight increases the force at which you exert yourself which leads to faster energy depletion, and this can actually lead to positive results.

MiR Short Weighted Vest With Zipper Option 20lbs
Amazon.com : miR Adjustable Weighted Vest, 20 lb. : Sports & Outdoors 1.0 out of 5 stars Was Great Until… Reviewed in the United States on November 12, 2020 I was so excited to get this vest. It had great reviews and was highly recommended. When I seen the price drop I had to pull the trigger. Took a while to get but that was fine. One it arrived I was so happy and I put it to use immediately in my workout. Pull-ups, dips, push-ups, squats, lunges, running and core work. I work about about 5 or 6 days a week and used it about 20x since I received it. It only used 24lbs for the workout and 12lbs for my run. Nothing to extreme for a 60lbs capacity vest. I was using it on Nov 10th 2020 getting ready to do reverse push-ups (Australian pull-ups) when the left strap bust loose. I was heart broken. I knew what happened. The Velcro had worn away. I couldn’t believe a product that costs so much, is made for workout activities from light to heavy gave out on me like that. I know I can’t be the only one with this problem. I’m so disappointed in MiR. Loose the Velcro and add buckles lime V-Force or Box. That’s what I’m going to buy now that I’m returning the MiR. I’ll edit the review and add photos before I ship it back Reviews with images Top reviews from the United States Reviewed in the United States on June 10, 2021Nothing bad to say. This thing is rugged and well designed. Just ease into it – wearing too much weight you realize it and start feeling light headed.Ordered an extra set of 6 weights, but it comes with 6x 3 lb weights. Honestly, that’s plenty to start with since most other vests stop at 10 lbs., but I wanted to make sure I had them available upfront. Fully loaded you get two rows of 6 pockets both in the front and the back, 24 total x 3 lbs weights you can get it to 72 lbs, which hats off to you if you can manage that. The weights are solid metal similar enough to a bar of soap in size, for a rough approximation. If you’re crafty you could probably figure out your own weights out of smooth rocks or whatever but in a bag or something so they don’t skip out, the pockets are open at the top and there’s one big flap over them all, but smaller things would probably get out – you need to fill up the pocket. The metal bars are coated to not rust, slide in and out nicely, and not move around – they are perfect, just a little spendy. It lays comfortably, very rugged material even for the pockets which apparently isn’t very common. The weights are snug in the pockets and have a large heavy Velcro flap that closes over the top – they aren’t going anywhere whatever you do in any direction, any force. The shoulders have thick Velcro to attach the front to the back, so you can adjust it to your frame. With standard 6 weights, it held fine by itself, but with extra weights the Velcro would start to loosen up then I noticed the extra straps and double D rings to go over the shoulders to keep it together, basically use the Velcro to get the fitting right then strap it to keep it in place with weight. There are other straps to go around that will keep it from flopping around. Run, flip, jump, whatever – it’ll be there for you.The head opening is pretty big, which is a good thing. It lifts on and off pretty easily. Setting it down it folds over in logical places even with the weights in, so it stores nicely overnight. There’s no way…
MiR Weighted Vest: How to put the %#$&! straps on
miR Air Flow Weighted Vest with Zipper Option 20lbs – …
Amazon.com : miR Air Flow Weighted Vest with Zipper Option 20lbs – 60lbs Solid Iron Weights Machine Washable. Workout Vest for Men and Women : Sports & Outdoors 1.0 out of 5 stars MIR, not worth the time or money Reviewed in the United States on January 22, 2020 For Christmas this year, I bought my husband the MIR airflow weighted vest along with the MIR ankle weights and Polydarcon battle ropes. He works out six days a week; it’s what he does when he’s not working or taking care of our children, the dog and our home. I researched these items very carefully prior to buying them because I knew whatever he got needed to be durable. The price really didn’t matter to me; my goal was to buy something that would last and was as comfortable as possible. The vest came and had four very small holes in it in the same place on the front and back. The vest had torn from the weight it was holding. I didn’t get the MIR ankle weights through amazon but just like the MIR Vest the product is garbage. They were over $100.00 and during his second use of them they ripped. It was so disappointing to me; he was just angry. I realize I could send the items back, all 50 plus pounds of it, and maybe even for free, but that’s just a huge inconvenience. Why should I have to do anything other than enjoy the products. He decided to keep the vest because duct tape was literally holding his last one together. That vest was half the price and he did get a few years out of it. My husband has attempted to contact MIR company, on three different occasions, via email, phone and a hand written letter. No one has responded to him. I feel it’s just ridiculous! I could not be more dissatisfied than I am with both the MIR vest and ankle weights. Not only are the products not satisfactory; their customer service is non existent. I’m 40 years old and I have never written a review in my entire life, but the more I think about this entire situation, the angrier I become. It was worth writing if it saves anyone else the aggravation we have been through. Reviews with images Top reviews from the United States Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2022This vest has excellent build quality and it is very adjustable to your body type. I use it for body weight workouts and for cardio on a hiking trails. I thought I could use the maximum weight, but man was I wrong. My shoulders and traps were killing me on hikes, so I went down in weight class and used only 15lbs, then slowly added 5lbs every few weeks to build up to 50lbs. At 10-15lbs jogging and HIIT is ok on your joints, I would only recommend walking/hiking with 25lbs+ on your back. Use full weight for pushups, pull-ups and ab exercises. I’ve pretty much stopped going to the gym and just been using the vest + outdoors workouts, I like being outside and the vest is great at burning calories. The only thing they could do to improve the design, is have all the weight pockets collapsible and expandable so that it could be utilized for hauling camping gear, almost like a hiking vest/backpack hybrid. I would pay extra $$$ for that utility and it would be not to difficult design to achieve. Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2022Love this fit, wish wasn’t blue. Thought color was heathered black/grey or black – not denim blue – still works, but don’t like color. Doesn’t move when running. Great buy. Reviewed in the United States on July 29, 2022I bought this in 2019..I still have it, it’s very durable I use it for the, murph. It pulls a little on the pushups but no big deal. It doesn’t really bounce while running. The velcro straps are still intact. No complaints. Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2022The vest has a perfect fit once adjusted. Exactly what i needed for hikes and exercise! Reviewed in…
